  • Michael is a research volunteer at CHOIR and a student at Boston College, where he studies Biology. Beyond his work at CHOIR, he enjoys working as an after-school tutor at 826Boston, a local non-profit, and teaching English classes at the Boston College Neighborhood Center. In the future, Michael hopes to pursue a medical career that integrates both research and clinical practice. In his free time, he enjoys running, playing the violin, and listening to new songs.

  • Katherine is a research volunteer at CHOIR and a student at Boston College, majoring in Biology. Her particular interests include preventative medicine, neurological disorders, and social determinants of health. Outside of CHOIR, Katherine works on the executive board of the Hawaiian cultural club, which promotes diversity and inclusion within the Boston College community. She also delivers patient-centered care to elderly, hospitalized patients. In the future, Katherine hopes to pursue a career in medicine that blends research and clinical care. Outside of research, Katherine enjoys yoga, reading, and traveling.
